Privacy Policy & SMS Terms

I run a small local business, so I wrote this the way I'd want to read it: plainly. It covers what information I collect, why, what touches it, how long I keep it, and the text messages I send.

1. What I collect, and why

Booking details: your name, business name, phone number, email, employee count, and the one-line answer you give about your biggest time-drain. Collected when you book a mini-audit (at your door, via the QR card, or on this site). Used only to run your appointment and prepare for it.
Discovery-call recordings and transcripts: the 45-minute discovery call is recorded only with your spoken permission, asked out loud at the start of the call. The recording exists for one purpose: building your written report.
Payment records: payments are processed by Stripe. I never see or store your card number. Stripe's own privacy policy governs the payment itself.

2. What touches your information

Your discovery recording is transcribed and analyzed with AI software to draft your report; a human reviews every page before it ships. Specifically: my call-recording and transcription software, the AI system that drafts the report, my scheduling software (a CRM, which holds booking details and sends appointment texts), and Stripe (payments). Each processes your information only to deliver the service you booked.

What never happens: your recordings, transcripts, and business details are never sold, never shared with third parties for their own use, never used for advertising, and never used to train AI models unless you separately and optionally opt in to de-identified internal training use (a standalone checkbox; declining changes nothing, and raw recordings are never used for it). Your numbers are your numbers.

3. How long I keep it, and how to delete it

Everything sits in access-controlled storage on a fixed deletion schedule: the source recording is deleted 30 days after your report is delivered, the working transcript after 90 days, and your final report after 12 months (so I can stand behind the report and the guarantee), unless you ask me to keep the report longer or delete anything sooner. Booking and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require, and the minimum needed to honor an opt-out is kept so I never contact you again by mistake.

Delete on request: email lucas@localaishop.com from the address I have on file and I'll delete your recording and transcript, and confirm in writing: usually the same business day.

4. SMS / text message terms

I send appointment texts only if you checked this box when booking:

"OK to text me my appointment confirmation and a reminder at this number. Msg rates may apply, reply STOP to opt out."

Texting starts once my carrier registration is approved. Until then, your confirmation comes by email.

What I send: appointment confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling messages about your booking: typically 2–4 messages per appointment. No marketing blasts, no promotions.
Frequency: message frequency varies with your bookings; expect a confirmation when you book and a reminder the morning of your call.
Message and data rates may apply, per your mobile carrier's plan.
Opt out any time: reply STOP to any message and texts end immediately. Reply HELP for help, or contact lucas@localaishop.com / __PHONE__.
Opted out by accident? Reply START to the same number and texts resume, or re-check the consent box the next time you book.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number and SMS consent are never sold.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Call recording

California is a two-party-consent state, and I treat every call that way regardless of where you are: no discovery call is recorded without your explicit spoken "yes" at the top of the call. If you decline, I take written notes instead and your Study proceeds normally.

6. Cookies, analytics, and tracking

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. No other parties collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use this site. Because no such data is collected, this site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals; there is nothing here that tracks you in the first place. I don't buy ads with your information: I knock on doors.

7. Changes and contact
